We will buy all precious metals whether it is hallmarked or not. We test every item to establish the precise content and carat value in order to give you the best possible price. Jewellery purchased in the UK should be hallmarked but a lot of jewellery bought overseas is not.

Once your item(s) has been valued and you accept the offer, payment can be made in one of three ways: 

Bank Transfer/Faster Payment System (FPS) – where the money will be in your account within 2 hours. 

We will send a money order out to you by post within 48 hours. A fee for this method will apply. 

Instant Cash can be paid when visiting our retail store. 

We do not buy gemstones. Any gemstones within items of scrap jewellery or movements in watches received will not be returned as removal of these is time consuming and cannot be received by our refineries. We recommend that, if a stone is of sentimental value, you remove the stone before sending the item to us.

Of course! When we have weighed and assayed your items we will contact you with our offer. You are under no obligation to accept this and can reject the offer in full or in part. If you choose to reject our offer we will arrange for your items to be returned to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery but this return will be at your expense. We also reserve the right to make a charge for testing items subject to a rejected offer.

Unfortunately, there is a high percentage of fake and costume jewellery believed to be of a precious metal. Our X-Ray Flourescence Technology used is 100% accurate to establish precious metal content. Any fake items can be returned to you but the return postage will need to be arranged/paid for by you in this instance.
